In Plan Rook George Angyan (founder of the Chess and English program) or other accredited teachers of Chess and English from our team run a min. 1-trimester Chess and English course either in the frame of the English course schedule or as a program among the extra school activities. Availability is limited, at the moment available in and around Barcelona.

Final prices are calculated according to the length of the course. The price below stands for the minimum package in this Plan, including 12 classes of 45 mins. This Plan is to be combined with a book package in Plan Pawn.

Plan Bishop

Plan Bishop is a tailor-made program for your school during which we offer a training to prepare the English teachers’ team (3-5 people) to be able to run a Chess and English course*, and we provide all training and learning materials (student books for every participating children), along with a toolkit of visual supporting materials for the future Chess and English teachers.

When tailoring the program we take into account the Chess knowledge background of the teachers, their experience as English teachers and the group of children (their number, age, reading and writing skills, etc.) who are concerned.

Plan Bishop also includes a follow-up mentoring (4x1h) for the Teachers’ Team to debrief the first experiences of their courses, deepen the understanding and help them to unlock any potential obstacles. In this Plan we are flexible regarding the time and venue of the training.

*Chess and English course can only be conducted by certified Chess and English teachers, a certification that you receive after attending one of our trainings. To participate in the trainings there is no need to know the rules of chess beforehand, the only requirement is to be a teacher of English.

The price below stands for the minimum package in this Plan calculated for 3 participants, including a 20h training, all training materials, follow-up mentoring (4x1h), Teachers' Pack on CD. This Plan is to be combined with a book package in Plan Pawn.

Plan King

Plan King is a tailor-made coaching program for your school's English teacher(s) (max. 2 people) during which we offer a personal coaching to him/her to prepare him/her to run a Chess and English course*. In addition we provide all training and learning materials (student books for every participating children), along with a toolkit of visual supporting materials for your future Chess and English teacher.

When tailoring the program we take into account the Chess knowledge background of the teacher, his/her experience as English teacher and the group of children (their number, age, reading and writing skills, etc.) who are concerned. We also compile a list of personalized recommandations on how to introduce and maintain chess education in your school.

Plan King also includes a follow-up mentoring (4x1h) for the teacher to debrief the first experiences of his/her course, deepen the understanding and help him/her unlock any potential obstacles. In this Plan we are flexible regarding the time and venue of the coaching.
